China Tea (Wuzhou) led the application succeeded for “The Liupao Tea Cellar-store Technique” included in the representative projects in the seventh batch of Wuzhou Municipal Intangible Cultural Heritage

Recently, the list of the seventh batch of representative projects of intangible cultural heritage at the municipal level was announced by Wuzhou authorities. The cellar-store technique of Liupao tea has successfully been selected.

The application was initiated and vigorously promoted by China Tea (Wuzhou) Co., Ltd.. China Tea introduced its exclusive technique "Aging in different functional stores and with multiple storage methods". Cellar-storing and aging are critical processes in Liupao tea making. The technique has particular constraints of storage conditions, such as indoor environments, storing ways, and the local climate. The recognition of the Technique would give broader platforms for LiuPao Tea’s further development and inheritance.
