How to Brew Chinese Tea (Multiple Steeping)

How to Brew Chinese Tea? Here are some recommendations of the Steeping Methods.

Green Tea Steeping Method

Curl shape: 20~30s for the 1st steep;

Half curl shape: 15s for the 1st steep;   

non-curl shape: 15s for the 1st steep.

White Tea Steeping Method

New-age tea 10s for the 1st steep;

Aged, 15s for the 1st steep.

Oolong Tea Steeping Method

the first three steeps, 3~5s;

longer or shorter steeping time as per personal preference for the subsequent steeps.

Black Tea Steeping Method

Gaiwan: around 10-20s, longer steeping duration as per personal preference;

Mug or Glass:1~3mins steeping. Times of Steeps Normally, 4~5 steeps; The 2nd and 3rd steep tea soup is strongly recommended.

Dark Tea Steeping Method

Rinse: 20s for the 1st steep, compressed tea needs longer steeping duration;

or Boil: stew the rinsed tea for 2mins after the water boiled. Longer stewing not recommended.   

or Thermal insulated: 10~15mins after rinsed, compressed tea for 20~30mins.
