China Tea Pu'er Tea Research & Study Institution (Zhengzhou Center): The First Advanced Training Courses Drawing to A Successful Close
From August 12 to 16, 2024, a 5-day advanced training course in Zhengzhou was held by the China Tea Pu'er Tea Research & Study Institution (Zhengzhou Center).
Sincerely gratitude to distinguished specialists, scholars, academicians and tea art masters in this field.
This course aims to introduce some highly skilled professionals, such as famous tea tutors and master craftsmen. Through a teacher-apprentice model, traditional techniques will be revitalized.
August 12: Exploring the Wonders of Pu'er & Attaining a Healthy and Beautiful Life
Professor Zhou Hongjie (Yunnan Agricultural University, YAU) had a theme lecture and highlighted the importance of scientific attitudes towards the study of Pu'er tea.
In the afternoon, tea art and evaluation section was arranged.
August 13: Pu'er Tea and The Microorganisms
Ms.Wei Zhenzhen, assistant general manager of China Tea (Yunnan), talked about the technological innovation of Pu'er tea of this company.
Ms.Sun Tingting, from R&D Department of China Tea (Yunnan), shared in-depth and clear methods on how to scientifically taste Pu'er.
Mr.Wan Jiang, deputy general manager of R&D Department of China Tea (Yunnan), delivered topics on the main producing areas for Pu'er tea.
August 14: Tea Etiquette, Tea Ceremony, and Tea Culture
Ms.Lu Yinzhi, the judge of the national tea art vocational skills competition, delivered a keynote speech, stating that tea is a carrier of modern life and we should have a right attitudes to tea.
Ms.Liu Huiqi, Dean of Tea Culture Research Institute of Henan Folk Art Association, National Tea Art Specialist (the first level), had a class of tea ceremony.
August 15: Innovation and Application of Tea Processing Technology
Mr.Gao Jun, from Tea Science Department, YAU, gave an in-depth lecture on the quality, the processing techniques, and storage conditions of Yunnan Pu’er tea.
August 16: Pu'er Tea and Cross-Border E-commerce
Mr.Shi Xuefeng, GM of New Medias Department of China Tea (Yunnan), pointed out that tea, as a symbol of Eastern wisdom, with its unique methods, is promoting and integrating the cross-cultural communication. It has become an important driving force for economic development.
Ms.Yuan Meng, from Training for Operation Department of China Tea (Yunnan), had presentations on marketing and successful business cases.
After the topic seminars, there are some practical sections, including the tea evaluation of Pu’er of Bingdao, Wuliang Mountain, Jingmai and other regions; tea brewing methods; and tea tasting vocabulary.
